Burton Process is an intermediate all mountain snowboard. This board is like Burton Custom as the riding felt very similar. Process is a bit softer for a bit more control while making it a bit less stable on higher speeds. Process is constructed in slightly different materials for lower price point.
It is a traditional camber board, with medium flex, medium side cut radius, and a twin shape which performs well in all mountain terrains.
- Traditional camber allows a stable ride. It is less forgiving and will require proper technique in order to avoid catching the wrong edge of the board which will throw you off
- Medium flex allows for some stability specially at medium speeds
- Medium side cut radius allow medium turns and
carves
- Twin shape allows to be ridden switch (regular or goofy) so good for freestyle riding as well. The stance can be offset a bit to allow the tip to float slightly better in powder
This board is for intermediate and can ridden anywhere in the mountain. It allows the rider to try different terrains and different riding styles until such time he or she is ready to progress . It is relatively good with carving, can go fast, can do switch and even jumps.
